The 18th annual Mouth of the Tyne Festival returns to North Tyneside this July.
Once again, there's so much to see and do at this year's festival. There's live music concerts in the wonderful Tynemouth Priory & Castle, free family street entertainment, live jazz music, activities for under fives, and a pageant featuring hundreds of local schoolchildren and community groups.
Parking will be extremely limited in and around Tynemouth, so Northstar, in partnership with Nexus and North Tyneside Council, will provide a free Park & Ride service to support the festival, on Saturday 13 July and Sunday 14 July.
The service will operate from Beaconsfield, on the seafront at Tynemouth (adjacent to Tynemouth Aquarium), to Tynemouth Village, on Percy Park Road.
Park and Ride users can pay to park in Beaconsfield Car Park and travel free of charge on the bus to and from Tynemouth Village.
The service will run every 20 minutes, between 10:00am and 6:20pm on Saturday 13 July, and between 10:00am and 7:35pm on Sunday 14 July.
