Friday 19 December 2025

- Service 134 will depart Sacred Heart RC High School at 1:00pm instead of 3:40pm due to the early closure of school on this date.
Saturday 20 December 2025
- Buses will run as normal on services 79, 599, X22 and X43.
Sunday 21 December 2025
- Buses will run as normal on service 79.
Monday 22 December 2025
- Buses will run to a normal weekday school holiday timetable on services 79, 599, 792, 937 and 939.
- Metrocentre Express services X22 and X43 will be running from Chester-le-Street and Stanley, providing you with speedy journey times to the Metrocentre.

Wednesday 24 December 2025 - Christmas Eve

Thursday 25 December 2025 - Christmas Day
- Our drivers will be enjoying a well-earned rest on Christmas Day - no buses will operate.
Friday 26 December 2025 - Boxing Day
- None of our normal routes will operate on Boxing Day.
- We are delighted to be providing Arriva North East services 35, X18 and X21 on Boxing Day, in partnership with Northumberland County Council.
- Because Go North East are providing no buses on Boxing Day, we are providing a special M43 service, which will run hourly between Stanley, Tanfield Lea, Tantobie, Lintz Estate, Burnopfield, Sunniside, Whickham, Metrocentre and Newcastle Eldon Square.
- The first bus departs Stanley at 8:22am, arriving at Metrocentre at 9:06am and Newcastle Eldon Square at 9:24am
- The M43 service runs hourly until 5:22pm.
- The last bus back to Stanley from Newcastle Eldon Square is 6:30pm, and from Metrocentre at 6:51pm.
- ENCTS passes are valid for travel
- Multi-operator TNE Day Saver, Durham Day Rover and Tyne & Wear Day Rovers are sold and accepted on board the M43 service.
- Discounted fares for young people aged 21 and under are also sold and accepted - a single ticket costs just £1.00 and a day ticket £3.00.
