Launching this summer, Northstar will introduce two new express bus services to the Metrocentre, which will operate every Saturday and all throughout school holidays.
The new services, running six days per week from 21 July, will provide quick and direct bus links from Stanley and Chester-le-Street to the Metrocentre:
The new services will run the same routes you'd take in your car, and at a fraction of the cost.
Tickets which are funded by the North East Combined Authority (NECA)'s Bus Service Improvement Plan will be sold on services X22 and X43, and multi-operator day tickets purchased on other operators' services will also be valid for travel.
English National Concessionary Travel Scheme passes for elderly and disabled passengers will also offer free travel.
